This was our cake last week for the first Friday of the month, chocolate and mint.

I still get surprised by how many people complain about whatever cake we get (which I choose by the way), I mean really, the partners give us free cake – what more could you want?

I accidentally bought these plastic containers that are split in two when I wasn’t paying attention at the supermarket and was pondering what I could put in them when I realized they are perfect for fruit.

I have since decided that some fruit just should not be put in the fridge and should only be eaten at room temperature, such as kiwi fruit and banana.

What other fruits do you have to add to this list? 

 I'm the kind of person who needs to chop and pre-prepare my fruit.

I snapped up these MOR hand wash and lotions on OzSale but pretty much forgot about them until they were delivered at work.

Another box of house related stuff to add to the pile in storage I am sure. I need to stop hoarding stuff but I know that it will make it more fun to pull out new stuff in the new house (which we have not found yet by the way… even though I have dropped my standards) than the same every day basic crap we use now. 

Does anyone have some recommendations on nice French branded hand washes? I used one somewhere but forgot where, and fell in love with it.

I noticed these whilst walking to the tram last week, and found it really interesting that I walk past them twice a day but never noticed them before hand.

I need to focus on my surroundings more. 

I cleaned my rings for the first time since our wedding, which we are rapidly approaching our 1 year anniversary for. Isn't that gross? I wouldn’t mind getting an ultrasonic or whatever they are called. Just dunk them in, switch a button and you are done.  

Nutella and banana on toast. I don’t care what anyone says, this is the bees knees.  Perfect for a quick sugar AND potassium hit I say.

They seem so loving and it’s so sweet to see them showing affection when they usually cant!!

For the first time in my life I have finally gotten into the Olympics, even if Channel 9 do have terrible coverage. This is why we need Foxtel again. 

My outfits have been dead boring lately but today I decided to perk up my look with this flower pin.

It was actually part of a headband that I had but I unpicked it and it works perfectly with this otherwise simple and boring Jane Lamerton dress.

In other news, I am giving up dumplings and won tons for good.

I mean it, don’t laugh. They are not my friends.

I eat them, savour the taste and then battle the onslaught of reflux for a good 8 hours afterwards. They aren’t thatgood that I am willing to put up with it.

He (she?) was shocked by the coolness from the stethoscope – beyond adorable.
