I’m sure you are getting sick of the Bali posts by now, but you just need to hang in there.
I have nothing else going on, and if I don’t blog these, I will have nothing to blog about.
I tried to do everyone a favor by completely over exposing this photo in instagram as I had no make up on and my pimples have gone insane. Over exposure is the key. If only I could be over-exposed every minute of the day. I suppose that is why they invented make up though.
I’m not actually in the jungle here. I know, I can see how you could be easily fooled by this.
Does the jungle even have ferns?
Either way, Ayana has a golf course and put put course so there is lush greenery everywhere you look.
I got this dress from Marcs before I left and on Saturday I chucked it in the wash with all kinds of other stripey clothes, black and whites included. I forgot to put it on cold but low and behold, the washing fairy must have been watching over me because nothing ran or shrunk.
It’s basically a modern day miracle. Lots of my dresses get shorter as the washes go on, I just don’t have a knack for it and may need to outsource.
Thankfully the weather in Melbourne has started to perk up, so much so that I might even attempt to walk home from work. Its been a while since I did that. Since any form of exercise actually. The Husband wants us to go for walks together before work but I really value my sleep.
We headed out to Potato Head in Seminyak for dinner one night, which was quite nice, definitely a tourist mecca.
As you can tell, I was dressed for serious eating. It’s times like these when looking like a sack is acceptable.
Don't mind the Zombie eyes.
It would be lovely to go there during the day and stay for sunset, just lounging around by the pool.

Potato Head was the same day as Jet Skiing which is the only excuse I have for leaving my room with curly hair. I was hoping that my MAC Girl About Town lippie would distract from the hair.
This was the only night that my cardigan made an appearance also, it wasn't even cold but you know.
I thought that it was about time that I sunk my fangs into some protein after living on pizza and curly fries, but struggled to get through the steak.
Prices were really reasonable (comparing to home, not usual Bali prices), at about AU$30 for my main meal.
I must say that I was disappointed with the shopping in Bali. I don’t know why I expected more from it. I suppose that when we were in Thailand, I was able to find a tonne of gorgeous dresses at the malls and the quality is so good that I am still wearing them to this day.
Holly and I went down to Seminyak for a day but I only bought a few cheap sundresses and some lovely cushion covers from a furniture store. I was surprised when I couldn’t even find anything nice for my nieces or nephews. The quality of the clothes was terrible and I don’t think the kids would like to be itchy. We also went to Kuta in search of market finds and I got another few sundresses, a ring and some baby fauxbans for Henry and Thomas.
I did however engage in the purchasing of pirated DVDs. I got about 50 for AU$30. So far the quality has been about 70% perfect and 30% end up in the bin. Unfortunately The Husband had to settle for these as his gift which was a bit slack by me.
My Marcs dress makes another appearance, its becoming a favorite of mine very quickly actually.
I wore it with witchery sandals and clutch. My hair is at a lame length and I am hating it. I cannot wait for it to grow longer.
We also went to Ku De Ta for dinner and as soon as we walked in I spied this passport on a table and rushed over, thinking some poor sod had lost their passport.
It didn’t take me long to realize there was one on every table. Duh.
For dinner I had the pan fried Barramundi fillet, scallop, fragrant tumeric curry, smoked eggplant, corn perkedel and tempe chips which was about AU$28 and was amazing. So, so, so good.
I think that I preferred Ku De Ta to Potato Head but I cant really tell you why.
Maybe it was because we had a table in the fresh air with fantastic service at Ku De Ta.
cotton socks and her husband jumping for joy.
Apple Mojito – don’t mind if I do.

I think that I am done with the Bali posts, except for when I post about the wedding!
You can all breathe a sigh of relief now. I had better get cracking on taking photos of my mundane life again though otherwise this blog will burn to the ground.
