It's Friday Night.

I usually try and blog 5-7 times per week, but have not blogged since Monday (and that was a scheduled post so does not count) since I have been on my near-death-bed suffering from food poisoning since Sunday night.  I was riding the porcelain pony all night (guess what, my hair is not long enough to tie back and avoid the vomit..) and then on Monday I spent the day in bed, not being able to move from pain and sweating through the sheets. I kept fading in and out and seeing The Husbands stricken face watching over me, and bringing me water to sip and wet towels for my head. 

He wanted to take me to hospital but we were at my in-laws in Geelong and I didn't want to be stuck in Geelong hospital!! I have honestly never been that sick in my life, and I have had pneumonia which seems like a walk in the park now. 

I took Tuesday off from work, which I hate doing, not only because I feel like I am letting everyone down, but also because I get so bored at home. Went back to work on Wednesday but was not feeling too smash hot, and am only regaining normal-ness now.

Anyway, moving on.

Friday night I caught up with Blithely Unaware, cotton socks, horry pop lolly pop and a freckle to the left. http://afreckletotheleft.blogspot.com.au/

It goes against my heart that they don't use Capital Letters. I love them and use them all the time, even when not appropriate. Like Right Now.

Excellent fact: A bottle of Veuve Clicquot fits into a Louis Vuitton Speedy 30, perfectly.

I layered it with China Glaze Fairy Dust for some extra sparkle.  Need to put my olloclip to use more often so that I actually get some good nail shots. 

You know the best thing about sizing up? Zero muffin top. So that is what the secret is. 

Belly buttons are so weird.

This was taken a few hours before the food poisoning set in, but an hour after the offending food was eaten. 

This is a photo with my mum and 3 of her 4 sisters. There is another sister, but I'll save that story for another boring Friday night.

It has been years and years since I last saw him, I'm afraid to admit. He is in a nursing home and I felt like I needed to go and visit every single old person in there as they all appeared to be so excited to see people coming to visit. 

Only 1 boxing session this week. The Husband is slightly weirded out by me flexing my non-existent muscles whenever I come home from boxing. I should sneakily set this as his screen saver. 

My Missoni umbrellas arrived! Yahooo!

I did the right thing and gave this one to The Husband as he never has an umbrella, but it probably means I will never see it again. 

My umbrella arrived too, in a rather large package. I can't wait to use it, it is beautiful. 

In other news, I leave my heels at work under my desk as I come and go in my thongs for comfort, but do you think my shoes were there this morning? No. They were gone.

I'm not pointing fingers, but they didn't just vanish into thin air.

I had to wear thongs all day at work and they did not match my past the knee fitted pencil skirt. Ergh. That shit needs heels. 

They weren't awesome anyway so not a bad reason to buy a new pair.

Dinner.

American Psycho is on. Can't believe I have never seen it. 

In other news, eBay is a new pick up tool apparently.
