In the spirit of being fiscally irresponsible I have been shopping. Hey, someone has to do it!
My Windsor Smith wedges are so comfortable that I went back to Myer and got them in black. Hoorah! They were on sale again too, 25% off. For $112 you can have the most comfortable wedges ever.
I feel like I should get the cream ones too, but perhaps I am taking things a little too far... or perhaps not.
Speaking of wedges, our new office dress code guidelines was sent out yesterday.
It was this section that scared the bejesus out of me in particular:-
“Shoes should be well polished and highly shined at all times. Shoes should be professional business shoes either heeled (low to mid length) or flat, open or closed toe. Casual and recreation-type shoes such as strappy sandals, thongs and wedges are not permitted. Excessively high heels are also not permitted.”
I looked down at my footwear of choice and thought, well this is awkward.
Not only did I have wedges on, they are also strappy and definitely excessively high.
Oi vey.

Check out my tan line from my rings. My blackness is still kicking on but my back has been peeling like a mother.
The Hunt For A White Dress!!!
Please tell me I am not the only girl who hunts for the perfect white dress, just like the elusive perfect white T-Shirt which definitely does not exist.
I bought this Collette by Collette Dinnigan dress on Saturday, after trying on the Red & White Striped Resort Dress and being appalled with the fit. I have heard that others think it is a terrible fit also, so I don't feel as bad.
This dress is a little different to my normal style, and I think that is why I like it so much.
I think I will wear it to my brothers engagement party tomorrow, what do you think?
I can't stop at one, so I also got this Hi There by Karen Walker dress. I love it!! It is casual but can definitely be dressed up. It comes in blue, I think I might get that too.
I feel that it looks better in person though, which does me no good - being a blogger and all.
Embracing my blackness.
This is the dress on the website, it shows how different body types can really change a dress.
I nearly got this dress from Zara, but thankfully the lovely ladies on my Facebook Fan Page talked me out of it. Don't forget to become a fan so that you can also talk me out of purchases too.
