Black is the New Black

Friday (/ˈfraɪdeɪ/ or /ˈfraɪdi/) is the day between Thursday and Saturday. In countries adopting Monday-first conventions as recommended by the international standard ISO 8601, it is the fifth day of the week. It is the sixth day in countries that adopt a Sunday-first convention as in Abrahamic tradition. (See "Numbered days of the week" for more on the different conventions.)

In many countries, Friday is the last day of a five-day working week, and is viewed as a cause for celebration or relief (leading to the phrase "TGIF", for "Thank God/Goodness It's Friday"). In some workplaces employees are allowed to wear less formal attire on Fridays, known as Casual Friday or Dress-Down Friday.

TGIF. You can say that again, sunshine. 

I am really over this ridiculous Casual Friday business though. I obviously don't do casual very well. 

I tried out wearing jeans and it just was not for me. This is my Casual Friday outfit. 

I'm wearing an Asos skirt that I have only worn once before because it got stuck when I tried to pull it over my head, and I was scarred from that. Trust me, laugh if you must, but it was traumatic. 

I am also wearing a Caroline Morgan T shirt, Windsor Smith wedges, Kailis Pearl & Hermes Clic Clac. 

I have noticed lots of bloggers do a ‘What I am Wearing’ on their face, showing the make up that they have used. It is insane the amount of products that one girl can use every day!!

I still love my iPhone case. It makes me laugh.

My boobs are not really this big. They look like melons here. 

I know that The Husband has zilcho interest in my nail polish but I sometimes let him choose. He chose OPI Princesses Rule from the color chart because “It is elegant. Glitter is fun, at somewhere like Back in the Day, but this works everywhere.” Kill me with cuteness. 

If you don't know what Back in the Day is, it is a place to get your dose of Hard Rock, Rock n Roll and Metal. 

It’s lunch time and you know what that means – I will be in a Dumpling Coma for the rest of the day. MSG will be tasted through out the day.

We have re-scheduled our super awesome date night which includes an amazing dinner and a night in bridal suite, so now I have time to properly select the perfect date night outfit.

I finally got my iPhone screen repaired. I know, 3 months later.

I actually think that my eyesight was deteriorating from looking at the cracks all day. Killer.

The Husband and I trekked (and by trekked I mean we drove, with The Husband in the back-seat because our passenger door won't unlock, and me being his chauffeur in the front) to the Vic Market on Sunday despite the gale force winds as we are fasting this week so we needed to stock up on seafood. 

We walked past a phone stall advertising that they would repair iPhone screens so I thought 'what the heck' and got it fixed for $100. 

I also got this super cute happymori iPhone case. Love it,

The front has little heart pictures on it too.

I feel like I have a brand new phone, who would have thought that the screen could make me hate it so much?!
