Tulips on a Tuesday

Last night after work, The Husband and I popped into Flower Temple to pick up a mini real Christmas Tree as we decided that it was too much effort to put up our fake on seeing as we are packing up over Christmas and it takes up too much room.

I am really looking forward to having a real, massive Christmas Tree next year!

Anyway, they had two sizes to choose from but told me they were getting more in which are about waist height on me so I have ordered one of them and hopefully The Husband picks it up today!

Flower Temple is my favourite florist ever. I am often seen pressing my nose against the window after closing time and just admiring the lay out.  Everything is colour coded and it is a visual stimulation like no other I tell you.  I must go there and try out the cafe.

This is the super mini version of our tree! I hope that The Husband doesn't get hay fever from it as then my dreams will be crushed.

I took this photo in the lift on the weekend as I schlepped to Subway to satisfy my meatball craving on the weekend and realised that I probably looked like I was smuggling a basketball under my dress.

I got this dress in Bali and it has served me well over the few hot nights we have had recently, it's either wear a mumu or go naked.

I have somehow managed to get one of my wedding bands on again, which makes me super happy. I guess that when it is on it's own it isn't as squished as with the engagement and other ring.

My lower back is really hurting me recently and along with my swollen feet (cannot wear anything but sandals to work unfortunately) these are probably my two only complaints.

I really like being pregnant! I think I have had it pretty easy though, not much sickness or what not.

The Husband has taken to rubbing my belly with oil at night now as The Baby tends to kick his hand as he does it which he is absolutely thrilled about.

He has been feeling the kicks for a few weeks now, but it is at the stage where my whole belly jumps as she kicks stronger and stronger and the look of wonder on his face as he gazes at my belly and talks to her is enough to make my heart melt.

We headed to our new house on the weekend to check out the state of the garden as both our lawyer and the selling agent confirmed that the upkeep was up the vendor and disappointingly they have obviously not touched it since the day we signed the contract.

The garden is over grown, weeds are everywhere, some plants seem to have fallen over onto the path and a number of the bushes have died. Of course it was very well tended to when we purchased the property.
We (i.e. my brother Joseph) are going to be redoing most of the garden though.

Everyone says it is such a grey area of settlement but as we have it in writing you would think they would at least try and maintain it otherwise I would have been going over on weekends to prune and tend to it as the rose gardens were in amazing shape.  I know that it just has to be in the same condition on the day of settlement as the day we signed the contract but with so many of the plants dying I don't see how that could happen.

What do you think? Am I being silly?

Only 52 days until we take settlement and I finish work. Hurrah!!!

The board was still up so The Husband snapped this photo of me quickly but I would like to get one of both of us taken.

We then headed out to dinner with my family and I couldn't resist snapping a photo of Henry looking like such a big boy with his back pack on!
I am thinking it may be Thomas' now that I actually look at it though.
