Last night I was lucky enough to be invited to celebrate the 1st Birthday of Miss Fox Melbourne!!
It was everything a girl could dream of:

Lolly bar – check
Good music - check
Cocktails – check
Complimentary beauty services – check
Excellent company – check
You might have to clear your schedule, this is one picture heavy post.
I spent Thursday night fretting about what to wear and doing a fashion show for The Husband to choose from.
He nearly died when I walked out in my ASOS dress (wore it to Christmas party – here) and said there was no way I leaving the house in it. I put a singlet on underneath and he agreed it was perfect.
I had unpicked this necklace/embellishment thingo from a Forever 21 top a while back and it was the perfect addition to my outfit, as well as black stockings with a back seam.
I don’t normally wear so much black but it was raining and we did walk there. I couldn’t risk getting mud splatters on any other color!
All of the cocktails were the creation of Madame Brussels, who had their bartenders in little matching outfits of shorts, checkered shirts and canvas shoes. Impressive.
Who am I to turn down a cupcake?
This was my first time having Pimms!
I need to get out from under my rock more often and live large.
The necklace in action.
I’m in denial about my skin perhaps because I didn’t think it was that bad. Oh well.
Anyway, back to the necklace, by the end of the night it was missing more than its fair share of faux pearls and diamonds. Still awesome though, considering I only paid US$5 for the top.
Miss Fox had complimentary services going on, and they were quite the hit!!
Who doesn’t love a touch up after walking in the rain?!
The Hostess with The Mostest, Victoria Fox.
This was the first time that I have heard of Phat Brats and I feel like my life is now more complete.
I didn’t eat dinner, so if it wasn’t for these little bad boys I would have been on the floor.
The Husband had a lot more than I did, I’m too paranoid of getting food all over my face and in my teeth.
I swear, he never tells me if I have food in my teeth. Why oh why.
Hi, I’m Maryanne. Oh yes, I did have schnitzel for dinner, how can you tell? Oh – half a schnitzel in my teeth. Got it.
The Husband made sure to color coordinate with me, changing from his blue shirt to his black shirt when he got home after a hard day at work.
Tulle pom poms.
Does it get any better? Does it?
Sara, Erin and I look rather jolly, if I do say so myself.
Victoria concocting her own cocktails.
I take enough bloody photos of myself that I should know my ‘good angles’ by now.
This, my friends, is not one of them.
Long after the revelers had departed the party, and the festivities continued in a smaller scale, Sara-Jane was sweet enough to Minx my nails for me!
I had never had it done before, and I love it.
I have China Glaze Fly on under the gold Minx.
So awesome!
Doing what I do best, drinking on a near empty stomach.
The party was so amazing and I cant believe how much they have accomplished in 1 year!!
We carried on and went to the Carlton Club and then wrapped it up around 2:30am.
Of course a Hungry Jacks Bacon Deluxe Burger was in order for the trek home.
Oh yeah, this is me demonstrating the best way to get rid of the hiccups.
When I drink, not only do I sneeze but I also get the hiccups. Amateur.
Let me tell you, it's a good thing that I don't operate machinery at work.
