It's The Freakin' Weekend. I'll Drink To That Yeahhhaah!

I've been sick.

Being sick the crappiest way to spend a weekend, let me tell you that much!!

I attempted to go shopping with Kitty (who has a new blog, you can follow her here) on Friday night as we usually do, but we were done by 6:45, both suffering from exhaustion and general blah-ness.

I did manage to buy this blue scarf and some grey woolen gloves from David Jones, both on sale for $20 each.

The Husband said to me "Hey, isn't that a new scarf?!".
Jesus. When did he start noticing new purchases?! WHEN!?

The Husband and I went to some little deli place on the corner of Faraday and Lygon Street and picked up a few bottles of wine, but I cannot for the life of me find out it's name.

Olive oil anyone?

I got my standard Moscato, but found a new brand - Balbi Soprani, which was cheap and delightful.

I spent Saturday night cuddled up on the couch with The Husband whilst simultaneously sipping Moscato and tending to the needs of my Sims.

They are so demanding. I'm sick of them peeing their pants every time I cheat and change the year to fast track vegetable growth!

Who else plays The Sims? I can basically give them the title of single handedly (how is this not a real word?) assisting me in falling behind in my high school years. I would play The Sims on my laptop all night, sometimes falling asleep with my laptop on my chest.

I got this Michael Kors handbag in America back when we were over there, yet never got around to using it.

As I have been shopping my existing wardrobe, I thought I would whip it out, and to my delight it has my new initials on it! Hurrah.

Remember how The Husband noticed my new scarf? He also accused me of having a new handbag.
No way dude, this is old, just never worn.

My Hermes enamel bangle broke. How annoying.
I popped into Hermes on Collins Street and they have sent it off to Sydney to have it repaired. They have quite good service there, this is true.

My J Crew necklace is still going strong.

Possibly my best eBay purchase to date.

We rugged up and braved the wind and rain to go to the Vic Market and stock up on seafood and fresh veggies.

I have proclaimed healthy eating, yet the smell of the doughnuts was nearly enough to lead me astray.
The line was about 50 people deep so that Husband of mine assured me we would come back en route to the car, but we went a different way and I didn't get my doughnuts after all.

What is the point of going to the market if you don't get doughnuts??! TELL ME THIS.

Our front passenger door is still broken, so I am still enjoying a lifestyle of being chauffeured around by a handsome chap.

I used to feed him grapes, but have advanced to feeding him oysters as a reward for good driving.

Just kidding, if that was the truth, he would get no oysters.

How was your weekend?

Anyone else struck down by the dreaded flu? How about the Man Flu?

I wonder if I have any male readers. If so, make yourselves known!
