We have just decided on our wedding menu, with a tasting in a few weeks to confirm.
Starters
Chefs selection of canapes to be had on the landing at the Hotel Windsor.
Antipasto Platters to share
Taramasalata dip, grilled eggplant, stuffed bell peppers, zucchini, mushroom, baby tomatoes, kalamata olives, spicy salami and prosciutto. Served with grissini and turkish bread.
Entree
- Duo of scallops and prawns with pumpkin puree.
- Spinach and ricotta gnocchi with Gypsy ham, mushroom and semi-dried tomato.
Main Course
- Slow roasted salmon with olive oil mashed potato, rosemary roast truss tomato and green beans.
- Grilled sirloin steak with crushed cocktail potatoes, spring onion, green beans, cafe Paris butter.
Side Dishes
- Steamed seasonal vegetables.
- Rocket Salad with Raspberry dressing.
Dessert
- Summer berry pudding, Creme Chantilly, mango and passionfruit sorbet.
- Apple and rhubarb crumble with toffee ice cream
Wedding Cake
- Chocolate fudge with macademia nuts
- White chocolate mudcake with raspberries
Coffee, Tea and Chocolates.
We are also having the traditional Serbian celebrations before and after the church ceremony, where we have a caterer also. I don't think (hope) our guests will go hungry. There is nothing worse after a wedding than having to stop at Maccas!!
