Hello there.

I really didn't know where to start with my return to blogging.

I guess you could say that I am a bit rusty but even I didn't expect to sit here and stare at the blogger homepage whilst drumming my fingers along my jawbone. Where to start, where to start?

As my regular readers know, I have one skill in life and that skill is waffling on about nothing but even that skill is failing me right now.

I stopped blogging as I really had nothing to say that I thought would interest people. I know that you can only read about somebody else's ridiculously cute child so much before you tire of that.
However, having said that, this is what my life is. I am warning you now.

I also had no time, Nelly wasn't sleeping. When I mean she wasn't sleeping, I am not exaggerating.
She would wake every hour during the night screaming for a feed, and then would only sleep cuddled into me and if I dared to move away from her she would lose her shit.
Day naps were a joke, I could only get her to sleep 20 minutes in her cot or take her for a walk in the pram (this was handy with aiding weight loss though!).

We checked in to the Masada Mother & Baby Unit a few weeks back and my life has completely changed.

When we checked in I told them that she would be the one baby they couldn't crack. They assured me they could.

Going on three weeks since we have been home and she sleeps 7:30pm - 7:30am without a peep, has 2 x 2 hourly naps and 1 x 45 minute cat nap per day. They definitely cracked her (and me).

If you want to read more about our stay at Hotel Masada you can hustle to my Facebook page where I did a day by day run down.

The little tacker was christened surrounded by an explosion of pink.

See, I wasn't kidding about the pink.

This cake was huge and covered in glitter, a sparkly touch that I didn't request but which was cute on the day.

You can't tell but there is a finger hole in the back of it thanks to the transporter, my brother Joey. On the way home, The Husband had the rest of it on his lap and I slammed on the brakes and you had better believe that his white shirt was pink by the time we got home.

We ate cake for days.

My sister Cat gave birth to a beautiful boy named Rory, he was born at 25 weeks and weighs 530grams and is 29cm long.

He is doing so, so, so well. He's incredible.

I flew to Perth for 5 days when we got the news that he was expected to come out quickly and of course we all hoped he would stay in for another 15 weeks but he was too impatient. Cheeky boy.

I can't believe how strong my sister and brother in law are. I don't know how they are doing it.
To leave their gorgeous son at the hospital every day when they must return home, I can't imagine.

My hair has grown a fair bit lately. Thank Frig.
I am never cutting it short again. If I begin to toy with the idea, I need you to shut that down real quick.

As I am cruel, I have taken to matching outfits with Nelly.

My mum claims that I always said I would never match with my daughter but that doesn't sound like something that I would say at all.

She's crawling and I can't keep up with her.

She had quite the haircut at her christening. It adds character. Everyone needs character, right?

I'm still torturing her with headbands, especially since her hair cut.

She loves it.

Anyway. I'll keep blogging from now on, I think.
