Oh okay, I know I said that there would be no more pregnancy photos on here but the ones taken side on don't seem quite as scary do they?
I tried on this stripey fun dress at 7 Angels, for the whopping price of $10, but it rode up far too much when I waddled around the change room so I left it behind. Now I kind of regret it as it would be quite cute without a bump.

34 weeks.
It's the final countdown, doo do dooo doo do do do do doo doo!
Perhaps I should pack a hospital bag sometime soon or lay down some water proof stuff on our mattress.
I went to my final birthing class alone on Saturday as I preferred that The Husband stay and do painting and it was only a 2 hour class.
Look, I was 40 minutes late and then discovered that it was all stuff which you needed to have a partner with you for - think massages on a fit ball etc etc. Awkward for me.
Last night I was driving my niece home when all of a sudden a light came on the dash and within 30 seconds my steering wheel had seized, meaning I could not turn it at all.
I am so thankful that I was only in a 40 zone and on a straight road, as had I had been driving 100 on a windy road I would have had an accident, guaranteed.
It turns out that we didn't have RACV road side assistance for some weird reason, so I rang them and they signed me up as a member over the phone and they put me as a priority when I mentioned that I was rather pregnant - their service was impeccable.
The guy came out, assured me that he had 3 kids and could deliver my baby if needed (no, but thank you) and broke the news to me that we needed the car to be towed and this would end up an expensive issue.
The Husband was at the new house stressing about me being in this situation on my own, but it wasn't until I realised that I was on the verge of wetting my pants and there was not a shop or public toilet in sight that I started to panic.
I ended up going to a house across the road, figuring that if I vanish they will check the houses closest first, and asked to use their bathroom. I was pretty embarrassed as I still had my painting clothes on and this was a lovely house. The man let me in, with his little kids buzzing around wondering who the weird rambling paint covered pregnant lady was.
He was really nice, offering me water etc whilst I waited for the tow truck.
When the tow truck arrived, the driver was suitably concerned about would I be able to get in the truck or should we just call a taxi. Don't worry, I got in.
We took the car to the new house as our mechanic is in Geelong - speaking of which, we had a full service and lots of work done on the car last week , which cost a pretty penny so this is just that much worse. Why does this stuff happen when you already have 1,000,0000 bills and expenses to pay in a short period?!
We have decided that Bruce (the car) is angry about the thought of becoming a suburban baby mover and is protesting moving out of the city. I'm pretty angry with him as he has been such a reliable car up until now, when we need him the most.
Sigh. At least it didn't happen on the way to the hospital or when we had the baby in the car.
The ride in the tow truck was pretty fun though, and watching him reverse it into our very narrow drive way with The Husband and Joseph directing was even more entertaining.
My first time having french toast and it was freaking amazing. Look at this blackberry goodness.
When we were youngens there was a creek at the bottom of our street with blackberry bushes, so whenever I eat them I think back to us being kids picking them and bringing bucket loads home.
I actually don't think that I have had blackberries since then and we moved out a good 11 years back.

Just putting it out there, there is such a thing as too much ginger in a juice.
I got this small felt rug (if you can even call it a rug, it's 60 x 60cm) for $79 on mumgo purely because it was a bargain.
I'm still not sure what I will use it for, but when the baby is a little tacker at least she can sit on it and it will be a good background for photos.
I babysat Henry last week and we tried to be clever and do the ol' switcheroo so that he wouldn't realise Liz and Thomas had left.
Liz started pushing him in the pram down the street and then I took over but he was on to us real quick and was screaming the street down. It was terrible, people must have thought I was kidnapping him.
I messaged Liz to tell her that he hated me but then we got home and I won him over by being very very enthusiastic about trucks and cars.
I thought I was going to have to change my first ever nappy that morning, but thankfully it was not meant to be. I know, can you believe I have 2 nieces and 2 nephews and have never changed a nappy?!
That's about to change, quick smart.
We have had some pretty nice weather lately so I have frequented the local park for some vitamin D but it's a bit hard to get comfortable sitting down these days which results in me moving from bench to grass and back again.
I saw this little breakfast set at Masters and quite like it.
It also comes in a nice yellow but I think blue or white is the only way to go.
In other news, we have our car seat now. Phew.
We decided on the Safe-n-Sound Meridian AHR Tilt & Adjust. Apparently they are damn good and are suitable from 0 - 4 years so that is what I like to hear, one less thing to buy in the future.
Probably another thing that Bruce is angry about. Too bad Brucey Boy, until I get my own car (in the next few months I suppose) you are a baby mover - shape up or ship out.
