Raining Babies.

My sister Cat is throwing me a Baby Shower in a month. I'm damn excited.

The coolest part about the above sentence? The fact that Cat will be back in Australia to show it, because her and Mike are moving back from Ireland, to Perth specifically!! Cat will also be in the birthing room with The Husband and I, I'm not sure if that is more for my benefit or his. 

Despite the fact that she is throwing it, I have some rather large control issues and organized my own invites and tried to control more aspects before she shooed me away.

I got these invites (originally Bridal Shower invites) from this seller on etsy for a cool $15. 

I have since been told that Cat has also contacted the seller and is having some more custom things made in the same theme, hurrah. 

I know this is probably well documented, but I really despise the texture of paper straws but because they look so cute I could not resist them, only finding out after ordering them that Cat had already got some. 

I also got these pink bow cupcake toppers for their cute factor. 

Cannot go wrong I tell you. 

I don't know what decorations she will be doing but I know that we will have a lot of fresh flowers and plenty of food.  I guess I cant control everything. 

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone and there better be a chocolate pooey nappy game... or else. 

I am slightly worried that I wont be able to fit everyone into our new house, and that it wont be ready in time as the shower is only a few weeks after we move in.  We may be eating on the floor people, or at the local park.  

In more important stressful news - I have nothing to wear to my baby shower. 

I need to schlep it to the shops and try on every single dress out there. I definitely want a maxi and a v neck one I think as they are more flattering at the moment but don't want to wear black.
