Beyond Coconut Water - Hibiscus Infused Launch Party.

I was lucky enough to be invited along to the Beyond Coconut Water – Hibiscus Infused’ Launch Party last night by the ever so lovely Katie from Milkk PR, and took The Husband along so that I would not be a complete loner, snapping shots on my iPhone.

The launch party was held in the Botanical Gardens and it was a beautiful set up, overlooking the duck pond. We were met at Gate H (after a long and arduous walk from the only car spot we could find, whilst a zillion fit people ran past us on The Tan running track) by a lovely guy from the catering company who pointed us in the right direction, in case the signage was not clear enough.

As soon as we approached, I noted how Glamorous everyone was, and that is Glamorous with a capital G. These people were sleek, polished and very, very well groomed.

I, on the other hand, had just come from work so was far from.

At least I know where the beautiful people hang out now.

The set up was simple and elegant, with white tables and couches scattered with purple cushions and pink roses placed around the garden area.

Despite the roses being amazing, I could not help but think that surely they could have had hibiscuses though? Am not sure if we even get them here, but that is what hydroponic growers are for!

The catering was done by Neredah and Andrew Blake of Blake's Feast and Laurent-Perrier Champagne was freely flowing, as was the Beyond Coconut Hibiscus with Rum. Just how I like it!!

The food was delicious, but every time I would eat a tasty morsel, S would not tell me that I had food stuck in my teeth unless I asked, so I had to refrain for the rest of the night. What a killer.

That husband of mine definitely enjoyed his Beyond with Rum! What a great mix!!

It was a Christmas miracle that the weather held up, since it was terrible the day before but after all, this is Melbourne that we are talking about. It did start to get very chilly towards 8:30PM and we decided to call it a night. Shivering is not such a good look. Maybe I should invest in more jackets.

Once we left, we were lucky enough to be given a gift box each, which S then had to lug back to the car.

Don't be fooled by my demonic eyes.

Inside the gift box....

You can purchase Beyond Coconut Water at Chemist Warehouse, Thomas Dux, IGA and online at  Natural Health Organics

I was not sure what to expect of the Beyond Coconut Hibiscus, but was actually really impressed. I have heard that this is the first coconut water to be flavour infused which is a major achievement on its own.

The flavour is not artificially sweet, it is actually really close to the real thing!!
Having only recently come back from Fiji were we were sucking down the real thing every day, I had very high expectations and I must say, I was not disappointed. The hibiscus flavour is subtle, but is definitely there.

I have tried a few other brands that seem to be flooding the market at the moment, and I am honestly sure that this is the best one!!! I'm hung over today (swear I only had a few glasses of champagne) and wish I had some Beyond with me to rehydrate!!

Have you tried Beyond Coconut Water? If not, will you??
